Purchased the leasehold interest in 1101 Connecticut Avenue NW, a 12-story office building on a premier corner in downtown Washington, DC, atop the Farragut North metro station. Penzance replaced non-performing food court tenants with a boutique health club and renovated the lobby and common corridors enhancing the building’s presence and value. In 2019, Penzance re-negotiated the ground lease with the Washington Area Metro Transit Authority “WMATA” to extend the lease for an additional 99-years.
