John Jacoben is General Counsel (Investments). He oversees legal matters for investments, including acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, and dispositions. Previously Managing Director at Artemis Real Estate Partners, he also worked at Arnold & Porter and Walton Street Capital.
Mr. Jacobsen holds a BS, with distinction, from Cornell University in hotel administration with a concentration in real estate development and finance, an MA in international economics from Johns Hopkins, and a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law. He is a fellow of ACREL and lectures at American University Law School.
