Ms. Diaz Murillo, as staff accountant, is responsible for financial accounting and reporting associated with the development and operations of commercial real estate in the Penzance portfolio.
Prior to joining Penzance, Ms. Diaz Murillo worked as a staff accountant at Emil America, where she managed accounting for four warehouses, advised on general finance matters and helped to develop and implement new accounting procedures for more effective bookkeeping.
Previously, she worked with Marriott International in a range of roles. She was responsible for managing accounts receivable, as well as accounts payable, and participated in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
Ms. Diaz Murillo received a BFA from the University of Marymount, and an undergraduate certificate in accounting from Liberty University in December, 2022.
